'Zagreb heard Horvat's Concertino, premiered last autumn in Pula, for the first time this evening. The excellent playing of the orchestra contributed to the success, but equally so the part played by pianist Zanina Caric, a young artist of exquisite temperament and excellent playing technique. But the real star of the evening was when Zanina Caric played in the second piece, the 'Exocit Birds' for piano and winds by the great French master Olivier Messiaen. Žanina Carić played this difficult piece by heart, with ideally timed entrances and technical brilliance, thrilling the audience, who approved vividly.'

'With the same passion and superior precision, with which she contributed to the success of the new pieces, Zanina Caric pulled out of the duts of forgetting the Prelude op. 24 by Božidar Kunc. Žanina Carić showed to be a suggestive performer, who is able to send the compoer's message not only into the ears of the audience, but down their spine as well.'
