But the real star of the evening was when Zanina Caric played in the second piece, the 'Exocit Birds' for piano and winds by the great French master Olivier Messiaen. Žanina Carić played this difficult piece by heart, with ideally timed entrances and technical brilliance, thrilling the audience, who approved vividly.'
